The Gem has saved me so many times while playing hardcore, its incredible people dont use it B)

Not that i know of. Happened to me once. Now i take e tra precautions. At the first sign of lag, if no monsters around, stand still or tp out if you can. If there are monsters around, save and exit no matter how much progress you lose. Any amount of progress lost is worth it compared to dying. You usually keep your levels and items up to the point where the lag set in, and you can rejoin the game if you remember the game name and password and if it didn't crash.

I mean if I would have died because I made a mistake or missjudged a situation I would have been ok with it. But I was playing solo. Did everything on my own including hell. I was extra careful.

Then I was on EU this night when it was prime time US. Got a first disconnection and I alt + F4. I should have stopped here. But since I just got 2 new items and a massive damage boost I wanted to try out so much that I made another game thinking that it wouldn't happen again.

And I got disconnected again. Maybe my only mistake was I didn't alt + F4 this time. But I mean, it's just not fair at all.

HC was my best D2 experience. I never played HC before, and unfortunately because Blizzard sucks, I will never play HC again.

That's harsh. But get back on the horse again. It's the absolute best remedy. Maybe with another build. Agree on the philosophy that hc is much more fun.

I undertand what u feel, blizzard should work on a special protection for HC, in case of disconnected/crash server...
