Hello all,

I'm looking for some guidance as to the best character levels to use my Charsi imbues on a necro head, in order to maximise the chances of getting +1/2/3 to bonespear.
From what I understand the imbue gives +4 to character level for the purpose of item affix levels. But I'm not completely sure how the process works, even after looking at affix levels.

So when would be the best character levels to imbue a + bonespear necro head?

yes i'm more concerned about low level. Obviously there are better options for late game. Monarch takes a lot of strength no?

On west we have wiz gloves. Certain nvn builds can use magic/rare heads. No doubt.

Nonsense items like wiz gloves are the reason why legacy D2 should have ended one day

Just use Rhyme, you get better mods at the cost of some damage.

If OP is looking for anything less a 3 spear shield, he'd be better off just finding a self found rare 2 necro all skills or using a Rhyme or Splendor in a 3 spear shield. 5 spears are hardly worth using considering that it's impossible in D2R to get 125 using an 8 spear white and a 5 spear head on the same set up. If anything, a 4 spear 4 spirit Splendor would be a better choice for MLD or HLD since you can hit higher breakpoints.

GG 5 spear heads are also gonna be bought up by people who think they're worth thousands of fg for an inferior shield. Just use Spirit and spend the money elsewhere.
