I've found 4 types of possible buids for a trav barb:

• Relying on mercenary to kill, goldfind stacking
  
• Whirlwind with broken weapon, less mf
  
• Whirlwind with ist'd pb offhand, more mf
  
• Berserk with ist'd pb offhand
  

For those having experience with these, what do you prefer?

The cheapest to be 'doable' may be the merc route, but too slow to be worth it.

Whirlwind with damage weapons generally works best, then follow up with stat'd for itemfind on the other side instead of buff weapons on your other side.

What makes Frenzy better than Berserk here, just the leech?



You mean murder trav with minimal magic find (WW with broken weapon) and only use mf in the weapon swap when casting find item?

best to stack up GF rather than go for damage imo
let merc kill em or your not making enough gold
its quick if your mercs built right, get might merc ofc
just needs max res, leech and about 4k dmg also cbf helps
you can have a grief or something on switch to zerk the phys immunes if you wanted
or you could make him war cry barb on switch and do other runs too
since its just had a damage buff its actually kinda viable for 1p difficulty runs
i use mine to do essence runs and get meph's council too

Dual weapons that does damage on set 1.
Magicfind weapons on set 2.
You would max itemfind which is a great boost and key to using barbarian for this.

D2r or D2l?

For me personally, frenzy is the more enjoyable play stile. You hold down right click and zoom zoom. Actuall 1 hand 1 button play. Very chill if you wanna grind 1k+ trav runs. Also fast run speed makes for faster grabbing of that loot

(I just go into chaos runs and find item all the way. So nothing is killed by me or merc.)
