In the Barbarian's "Find Item", the %MF of our equipment is added to the %MF of the skill ?

I've always had this question and I don't remember finding the answer anywhere on the official blizzard website.

Depends, I build a barb puting 1BC, 20 BO, 20 Shout, 20 Find Item and he run CS easy poping bodies (with bots killing).

If u dont have or dont want to play with bots u must put just one to pop champions and uniques (Izual, Vizier, De seis, Infector, etc)

My vision

if you have 51 % item find from the skill item find and 200 magic find from your gear worn

you don't have 251 % MF. you have a 51 % chance of finding "hidden treasure" and a 200 % chance of that item being magical.

so if you pop 20 corpses, you should get drops from 10-11 of those bodies, and a 200 % chance of whatever dropped being magical.

i know the controversy around mf but these are the rules i've applied since .09 and it's been beneficial in my experience. good luck

Reading more carefully everything that appears in the official documentation of the game regarding the attribute "% Better Chances to Find Magic Item" all calculations cite the moment of death of the monster and the MF of the one who delivered the fatal hit.
Therefore, there is nothing to say about a new death for a lifeless creature and not even a fatal hit through the “Find Item” ability in a way that justifies the application of the same rule.

Wouldn't this be another logical way of understanding how the skill works?
