First time playing classic (well since I was like 13 when it was released). Im on HC and walked my javazon to Act 2 NM. I am only lvl 30.
Is EXP way slower in Classic than LOD?
Am I too low level? Should I be doing some Chaos NM runs or something? Even that was super slow lvling when I was walking through.

I think nm cs after lvl 30 isnt a too bad spot for leveling

I guess the problem might also be you char choice ... Ama is quite hard for pvm @ classic

It's been a bit tricky but I've been learning to use my decoy a lot. And in LOD/SC I'd never use. I must say it works better than I expected.

Many people like to run cows around that level, but you could also run cs. It's pretty bad exp.

Are you NM Act 2 or NM Act 4? you said you did NM chaos runs?
In NM chaos runs you get pretty good exp and can even go for level 55 or higher, but on level 30 they should be hard to do. Level 40 might be a lot easier.

And yes, in classic you get less xp than in LoD overall.

My bad that was a typo. I was Act 2 NM. I meant Normal Mode Chaos runs. Im now Act 4 NM and lvl 42. Exp has gotten better and has been a bit weird. It didnt seem really to matter much on what area I was at. (Like in LOD) Even going back and doing some Andy runs, my xp would sometimes jump a decent amount. It was all about just kill speed for lvls vs. area/monster difficulty. I just need to kill a lot. Definitely slower than LOD.

Hell will be hard. You'll need psn spear or cb/ow option to deal with Light immunes

And I just Charsi'd some Armor with OW for my armor with resistance. lol This small stash makes it difficult to want to hold onto anything.

I have some plaque javelins and been using that to deal with immunes but wow is it slow. I might have to respect at some point and put more points into plaque then lightning fury/charged strike.
