Or do i only loose durability on a wepon if i hit with it, im pretty sure thats the way it works but before i roll thos infinity i want to be sure

If you dont swing it, the durability will remain constant.

Suppose to be only if you hit with it.

With that being said, I have a eth occy on my sorc and the first one lost 3 dura before I sold it and the replacement has lost one dura already. Kinda strange and unexplainable

U do NOT want to make it out of an Eth weapon because if you are going to use the infinity you want to be able to repair the cyclone armor charges. If you get an Eth one you won’t have this option.

Eth weapons lose durability when you are striking or physically attacking an enemy.

The main attribute you are looking for is -enemy light Res.
