Confirms my philosophy: Never ever spend money on 3rd party game "enhancing" cheating mechanisms.

So it was safe to use for a while? Did he promise that they will work indefinitely? (If yes, did you actually believe him without seeing any red flags?)

To me it seems like you ignored the "bots can and will get you banned eventually" warning, if there was any.
