Emerald. Nice exe ornate

With a pA you'd have to go to 180 str (170+10) since you can't str bug anymore. Bad for an exec barb as you really want that HP. Exec is the only logical choice as it has 5 base dex.
pE limits the Ornate to exec barbs only (Mace doesn't really benefit from dex that much), with the advantage that you can take full advantage of the 10 stats. (40 life+bo)
pR is maybe the most versitaly of all three as you sacrifice 2 hp +bo and can use it on any weapon class barb.
I wouldn't sock it as i think a good exec barb needs -30req on both weapon and ornate. The 5 dex is wasted on Mace/Axe barb.

i'd say: Nosock>pE>pR>pA.
Definitely pE if you plan to use it on exec barb.

While ruby looks nice on blue items, emerald probably more practical, however, since it's just for fun, why not diamond? That's always sexy for blue also
