Depends, some people like them upped and some don't. If you're a kicksin, upped gores has value cause better base > higher kick damage. Other Melee chars don't want the extra str req on an item that doesn't need it, so keeping it as is is fine. Value is a gamble. If it rolls under 210, it's not worth more than what it was non upped. If it's 210-213, the high def may let you sell it for more.
