What setups would you run as non-block es blizz at 75% in pvp? Trying to get max res in hell pubs where I will be dueling, and enigma makes it hard.

the best armor for this is Btal but ormus also works great as putting 20 points into telekinesis does take its toll on your damage

With enigma you'd want to run:
Fathom (ideally 40LR and 30+FR)
Circ (ideally 2/30/20/ with 20 all res base + life/mana rolls if possible)
2/20 ammy (ideally 100+mana)
Spirit shield
Aldurs boots
Caster belt (10/24/str/life/res)

For sockets in circ or fathom you'd use high resist jewels (e.g.: 40cr 10 all res) and/or fhr/res jewels (e.g.: 7fhr/15all, 7fhr/30cr/10all, 7fhr/30lr/10all).
Tri res boots are also an option, good temp item until high res jewels are acquired.

5 all res = 17 mana: however you should look to max res from items and use 20/17 to fully optimize life/mana.

you know its funny, i tried aldurs and it is GG, the fire res and 50 life are gfg with the r/w, dtm doesn't hurt either when getting hit by physical either!


it's so funny, because you can tell the difference btween an average player and a good player because you didn't even mention facets, most people don't see NW on a blizz and are like, N00b!!


curious, what are mana ratios you like to shoot for at 75%es?

Yeah 1-2 facets don't add as much value as most people think, especially compared to top tier resist jewels for ES blizz. Facets are an all or nothing kind of strategy...more common with vita specs to dish out max dmg relative to cold stack rules.

Life/mana ratios depends on your duel style and gear choice...if you're good at evading and minimizing taking consecutive damage in duels you can get away with less mana. Around 3-3.2k I'd say is a good middle ground for mana....if memory serves me right its roughly about what you'd need to tank 2 consecutive hammers without completely depleting your mana pool.

Vita if you can avoid getting hit or have autoaim

Es only useful in team duels but no1 wants a blizz sorc in a team duel game
