whats the best way to deal with baal wave 2 if I were trying to farm baal with a hammerdin

does conviction aura help with that wave or no?

Holy bolt vs the immunes. Blessed hammer has a whopping 50% synergy bonus per level, and since you have many + skills, holy bolt becomes strong ( ~2k dmg on a 125 fcr build ).
Fortunately the wave 2 immunes are undead


Concentration aura helps your merc to clear them out faster, so dont turn it off.
Conviction does not help. You only get the -%def from it, so that your merc hits more often, but it's really not worth giving up the damage - just go conc + holy bolt.

Personally i put 1 point in fanat to offset the decrep from baal and combined with strong merc and holy bolt makes wave 2 easy pickins.

I used botd and it worked well but I think I would be better off with an eth insight, need to get one.

Reapers toll if you use mana potions, insight is ok to be lazy with tho but not optimal speed

flashing redemption to evaporate skellies helps alot
also if there are any of those little exploding bastards make sure you evaporate their corpses too
because they are undead they will spring to life and pk ur ass if your not careful
