I made a Pitzerker for the first time recently. He's Level 87 almost 88. 528 MF caster swap // 648 mf kill swap. I've done around 300 pit runs so far and so far found nothing worth keeping. Constant blues and crappy rares. Seems I'm actually just a full rejuv farmer at this point.

Does anyone else have this experience? Pitzerker is supposed to be the "most efficient mfer" in the game. I've had much better luck mfing Andy and Meph with a sorc. Am I just on a cold streak at this point?

TOO much? It's my understanding that it doesn't hurt your chances of good drops to have high mf. It just starts increasing chances by smaller and smaller (almost negligible at 5-600+) levels.

With your MF levels where they are currently, you are forcing a high % of items to be blue (magical) rather than rare or unique.

You want to be MFing in the 250-300 MF range. This gets you a good combo of rare and unique items. Not to mention you will be able to squeeze in much more offensive items into your build, thus increasing your kill speed.

And more monster death is more items. And more items mean more chances at good items.

Half your MF% at least…

Something like 200-250% is kinda max what is needed.

No, you are not forcing uniques to become magic with more mf. That's not how mf works.

Doesn't the higher item rarity level take precedence over the lower ones? Like, if the item drop algorithm rolls a Unique and Magic at the same time, it will choose always the Unique before Magic to drop? That's my understanding as to why you drop your MF low when you want plain bases, since socketed and plain items are under Magic items.

This is how I always understood MF to be, and that you don't go high more for the lack of kill speed as opposed to Magics replacing Unique and Rare drops.
