Have they announced at all yet when ladder season 1 is releasing

they announced a ptr, so i guess it could be 3 months before a ladder season 1.
also, they treat d2r the same way jsp does - as the same game as d2, so they probably have little staff looking at this particular game, the ptr, and ladder.

Oh screw ptr. Looks like I’m waiting another 3 months. Sick of the game now anyways. Played non stop all day every day since d2r release. Nothing more to do really….

its normal for ppl to play launch and then quit after 1-2 days, 1-2weeks, or 1-2 months, and then come back for ladder. thats what everyone did with d3 as well. d2r is slightly different due to it having a small pvp community that pays well for pvp items and noting that it takes months to gear. all games do not retain their launch player base. some games keep numbers higher longer then others. its all about how good the game is.

Ladder season in D2R might be within 2-3 weeks. Blizzard updated its servers yesterday. My guess is they're betatesting the changes before release.
