Probably in the wrong section, but I searched for 15-20 minutes and this was my best bet...
I play Single player solo-self found for over a year now and I try to finish the holy Grail. 11 out of the 506 items missing. My computer is old and I didn't make backups from my save games.
Last night Windows could not install updates and even my Excel could not save, no room in the C: directory. I saved and exited Plugy (stupid) and 2 files were broken:
* My lvl 98 sorceress (47% on the way to lvl 99) it is also not shown in the character screens
* My shared stash with all my Holy Grail items + runes + skillers
Made some room on the C: directory but both files were 0kb big.
Every time I try to enter a game it says "Unable to join game, bad header"
Creating a new char: same problem
Creating a new hardcore char: works fine, because the hardcore shared stash is fine
I duplicated the files and try to remove the shared stash and then I can join with my other characters.
Is there any way I could get my Sorc and stash back? It doesn't help that I know practically nothing about computers...
