Hello,

For a lightning sorc, what do you suggest to max first, Nova or Light mastery (after maxing bolt, light and chain light)?

My method for a pure lightning sorc is to add 1 to all synergies for chain lightning, then max chain lightning and lightning mastery.
Then, lightning, nova, and lastly bolt. Try to find a tgods belt for when in the presence of those scary aura'd ghoulies/souls.

Pure lightning works well with a merc which holds an infinity.
As of late, I have been having fun with pure blizzard. It really depends on what you want to do. I just play for fun. :santa:

Nova gives 8% synergy bonus to Lightning (4% to Chain) 20 points = 160% to Lightning (80% to Chain)

Mastery is 12% per level and applies to many other lightning spells, 20 points = 240%

You max mastery.

I always thought it was lightning, mastery and bolt as the core then add chain and nova last

Whenever I max Chain and Nova before Bolt, my Tinder profile gets far more right swipes. :blush:
It's just a preference. I like using chain when hunting huge unique packs and I prefer nova over bolt. So, I max it first. Do what makes you 'you'. :santa:

It depends on how many +skills you have on your gear

do you know that?

Because let's imagine you have +30 lightning skills, that would make LM have so huge % damage that another point won't matter much

But putting in to synergy is better then
