I am a javelin, and when I add lightning damage small charms to my inventory, it doesn't affect my damage. Why is that?

And how does it work with griffon? I am afraid that if I buy one, it won't help give me the extra damage I'm hoping it will give.

lightning scs do affect your damage but only your physical portion and not by much
griff on the other hand affects your damage a lot

Does physical portion mean melee?

I meant the damage from the javelin itself. The additional bolts from lightning fury don't get any bonus damage from lightdam scs.
