So its been a while since launch now and many players are stopping playing, waiting for ladder. I am looking back on how dissapointing things have been in terms of loot, the shiny item drops we are all here for!

I have a lvl 91 sorc, 86 necro, 90 Java & 87 barb. All were grush'ed and power levelled to around lvl 70. After that they have been used to farm, farm and farm!

Sorc runs - CS, Baal, Nila, Meph, Andy, Tunnels - Pretty much anywhere really
Java - Killed so many cows...
Barb - council and CS mostly
Necro - mostly CS

Yet for all the time put into them, the drops have been awful. I found a Sur and Vex in same game in sorc a couple of months ago, Best item drops as sad as it is have been a tal amu and 4 sox eth thresher, both quite early when they were selling for around 600-800fg each.. since then, nothing.

no good uniques, rares, charms or any other decent runes.. not even so much as a Gul, ist, Mal, Um.. litterally nothing!

Been trying to farm to get an infinity, but with items being worth so little FG now and my luck being so bad i just dont see how im going to get enough FG for one. im thinking its just time to give up and wait for ladder and hope for better luck.

Hows things been for others?

Is there any decent ways to make FG still other than just getting very lucky.. Or best to just give it up and wait for ladder?

A regular full playthrough from normal to hell Baal, no re-runs in P8 makes you end with a lvl88 char, you have four chars from lvl86 to 91 power leveled to lvl70.

All I can see is 20 hours of farming at most (maybe 40 because of bad gear, but same runs as 20h of effective mf) a Sur and a Vex plus a bunch of cheap uniques sound about average luck, maybe even lucky.

D2 is a grinding game, you are not unlucky, you just didn't play much.

100% truth.

Do cow runs with a fast char. (rune, rare, unicue, bases)
Do bosses with a fast blizz sorc. (unicue)

Started 3/4 of this ladder and found 2 griffs go figure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
