Like Apex etc… there could be a lot of undefined realms in a region i.e Americas 1, Americas 2 etc and you can’t switch manually, that’s what I’m assuming.

Would be interesting. He can look at my game list, and manually type in a game name from it to join said game. Just cannot see the options himself.
Quite demoralizing to only see 3-5 games up at times, though

Console players have it worst, they see 0 games.
Is there a lobby option to set how many games you can display at one time?

I didn't see one at a quick glance, unless "allow online chat" somehow affects game-list in a weird way.

e: I should point out that half the time he sees a full list of games similar to myself. And yet other times there is just a couple.

Perhaps it is different region instances like you mentioned
