Does anyone know how the game calculates the XP boost from the Annihilus charm? For example, if you are level 85, the experience charts say you will get 25% of the monster's experience (if it is within 5 levels of your character). Does the Annihilus bump that up to 35%, or does it just add 10% (assuming a perfect XP roll) of the 25%?

In other words, let's say you kill a monster within 5 levels of your character level (85), and, for simple math, it has 1,000 XP to give. Does the Annihilus...

A. add another 10% of the 1,000 XP, and give you 35%, for a total of 350 XP?
B. add another 10% of the 250 XP, for a total of 275 XP?
C. do something else entirely?

Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere else, but I haven't been able to get much info on it.

If that's true, then the crazy prices for near perfect and perfect XP rolls are uncalled for. Annihilus charms are rare, especially for console players, but they are no more useful than Enigma (I'd argue they are less useful), yet they routinely trade for higher prices. I'd like to have an Annihilus, but its functionality does not justify the overpay for high XP rolls. It would be best to find a cheap one with good attribute and resistance stats.

;)

I know people who 99’d without anni can’t say the same about 99’ing without enigma. anni is comfy for stat/res boost but not that useful over all
