I saw very nice build showing exile eth for zealot but some ppl say Phoenix aswell so I need advices guys !

a cracked buckler basically beats exile and Phoenix.

Hoz is better that eth exile 700-800 def ? To be honest I am surprised guys

Defense is mostly unnecessary in pvm, exile only add defense.

Phoenix at least add damage, firestorm can be annoying.

Hoz add some damage (more fana/zeal level and AR) excellent survivability, easy to MB and a free sock, that you may need if you are using death instead of grief.

never go phoenix on melee imho, it will interupt your attacks all the time

Most dangerous attack are either elemental or non-blockable/bypass defense.

For the rests with the mandatory 1point in HS and max block you will still be at 10-12k defense, at that point being on a higher level add more chance to evade an attack than extra defense.

You could get to 30k defense and barely notice any difference than with 10k.
