As you all know by now Blizzard is doing a Remaster of diablo 2 and expansion to 1920×1080 resolution It will remain a Sprite Based game.
Now their are going to be some changes to how things run mainly a subscription fee, but also trade restrictions and other anti-bot features. They expect to have the game ready by
thanksgiving of next year and plan on rolling out old content, runewords, ect fully by 2025 (You will still be here) There will be no more player to player trading
all trading will be done through a trading house with some sort of Blizzard-Balance tokens. Single player classic will be free to play, but B.net expansion will cost per
month per account with 16 expirable slots, only 1 char per account will be able to log in. A special account with in game botting feature enabled will be available for a prohibitively
expensive monthly fee. All of the current Diablo 2 Items and characters in possession will expire upon release of the New and Improved "Reforged" version, and the game will exist
as ladder only for the first year.
