Hi.

I exited a game while having picked up my Spirit monarch. The next game I joined, of course still showed my Spirit monarch as picked up. Usually I am able to drop it on the ground or in my inventory, but not this time. It simply refuses to get dropped or placed in the inventory.

This is rendering my hammerdin completely useless, as I am unable to move, use spells or move items around. I am just stuck in the place I spawn, whenever I create or join a game.

In all the years that I've played Diablo 2, I've never encountered such error before.


Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how do I fix it?

The Blizzard support team was not much help. They told me to wait for maintenance or pray for the issue to resolve itself.

I was thinking the same, but I am not able to move at all, and is therefore unable to die :(.

I had picked up a gem in act 4 for transferring and it wouldn't leave my cursor. I too have never come across this in all my years of playing. After only a minute or two i was able to drop it. Pressing etc or mashing the keyboard didn't do anything to help. Maybe try changing your keys in the bindings and see if that helps. You are able to leave games so that means you have access to the etc menu / options.
