I just had a good idea a few mins ago when I was taking a shower after doing some exercises. I was thinking the following: HC East is like the Old American Wild West, too many warriors (duelers) but too savage (disorganized). Its hard as hell to try to host and make a tournament on HC East, so I had a wonderful idea, why dont we make a "1v1 Ladder/Table" instead, like I do with my own duelers, but instead of being my duelers only, to make it with everyone willing to duel and get their duels registered (with certified trusted referees) in the statistics. Let me explain myself better.
In my own lists I have the Glorious Undefeated Champion Bavarian-Hulk as #1 with 17 victories and 0 defeats (from 1v1 legit melee duels) in the High Lvl Dueling bracket, and the rest follow below. The same can be applied in this case but different categories:
Name of the bracket (maximum level for that category)Low Level Categories:◘Low Lvl Dueling A Ladder (lvl 9 max)
◘Low Lvl Dueling B Ladder (lvl 21 max)
◘Low Lvl Dueling C Ladder (lvl 31 max)
◘
Melee Low Lvl Dueling D Ladder (lvl 37 max)
◘
Non-Melee Low Lvl Dueling D Ladder (lvl 37 max)
Mid Level Categories:◘
Melee Mid Lvl Dueling A Ladder (lvl 42 max)
◘
Non-Melee Mid Lvl Dueling A Ladder (lvl 42 max)
◘
Melee Mid Lvl Dueling B Ladder (lvl 69 max)
◘
Non-Melee Mid Lvl Dueling B Ladder (lvl 69 max)
High Level Categories:◘
Melee High Lvl Dueling Ladder (no limit/99 obviously)
◘
Non-Melee High Lvl Dueling Ladder (no limit/99 obviously)
These are the categories and brackets set in stone, whoever comes with their BS I dont give a damn im hosting this thing.
It looks like too many categories, but its the best way to do it when it comes to 1v1 challenges, and to make it fair, we have to divide it in brackets like that because it wouldnt be fair to have in the same ladder positions statistics a lvl 37 and a lvl 9 char, since those two are different brackets.
Anyway, to make the duel a REGISTERED duel, I can choose certain trusted "judges/referees" who must be a witness that the duel actually happened and the rules were followed.
I could start the ladder putting Bavarian-Hulk in the first place of the "
Melee High Lvl Dueling Ladder (no limit/99 obviously)" statistics table, but I think it will be fair to start from scratch this year 2014.
At the end of 2014, we will know who trully were the best duelers of 2014. We already know the best "Melee High Lvl Dueler" on 2013 was Bavarian-Hulk with an impressive record of 17-0, but this year a new statistics table will be set and this is how its going to be done on HC East due to the difficulty of hosting a tourney on this server.
Another point to be taken into consideration, if a character is killed dueling on a "registered duel" (with a referee) that dueler will be considered "dead" and will not add any more points into his name and house, but if the owner wants to make another dueler with the same name, then in the statistis table, ill add a "#2" after the name to make a difference between the previous version of that char that died and this second version.
Statistics table will be exactly like the ones used on the european server, with victories, defeats, ties, except with no "tourney points" because these will not be tournaments, but 1v1 challenges. So, each victory will give the character (and the house) 2 points, a tie gives 0 points and a defeat -1 point (for both the char and the house).
For example:
As you can see, both Bavarian-Hulk and Gaus-Falador belong to the house of the Golden Order, so in the "House" table, both records are added into the Golden Order house. I will add the "Status" (dead or alive character) on the "Individual Dueler" table, and could add the "Kills" column, just like an extra statistic, but the most important thing is to actually win the duel.
