Hi guys.

I am still working on gathering information about d2 history. I make youtube videos to teach the kids about how things used to be, before everyone forgets. I am currently trying to find info about old experience calculations previous to the 1.10 rework.

I noticed that in 1.00 the exp is literally just the base exp written in the game files. Leveling up is slow and there seems to be harsh level based penalties.

However, I know that by 1.06, they reworked this and the exp is more reasonable. People report getting to 99 in a day off hell cows and such.

I wondered if anyone can point me to a resource about the exp system changes during this period so I can relay accurate information to the young-ens. Thanks.



Also I am working on other videos, related to other inquiries I've had on this forum. That is in the works but requires more research and its going slowly. Right now I'm just trying to clarify this specific issue cuz I can't seem to find reliable info. Thanks.
