451 = Pestilent Small Charm of Anthrax

Not only that, toxic small charm of anthrax just has a much wider pool of monsters it can drop from, so it's found much more often and is cheaper.

451 psn scs still drop, but are no longer part of meta builds i think it's a bit more popular over on d2r

i used to be poison obsessed by adding it to damage but the drawbacks are massive.

physical damage > poison damage
damage now > damage over time

some poison damage sources like venom are just brutal but it requires you to actually take a hit and most ww sins cant hit the side of a barn. low attack raiting or poor mismatch in public duels like wwsin vs ww barb or wwsin vs smiter or wwsin vs hdin. the wwsin is going to lose even when it does massive poison damage. a poison nova nec is another great example of attempting to use poison to kill players and failing badly. poison dagger same thing. bowzons have subbuilds that instead of using elemental scs or fine small charms for elemental or physical you can also use poison scs as in the topic here. it went out of style very very fast because the 451 poison small charms are hard to find, expensive and does not offer real damage now.

a multi shot poison bowzon is 90% useless in most situations but there is specific duels where this build really kicks ass like vs es sorcs. dont be like me who invested in a full stash of 451 scs just so spam in pubs because it slowly drains the hp of everyone. it is annoying sure but the damage is not fatal. also you can just drink a few antidote pots and stack your poison res for many minutes completely negating the entire build.

so long story short avoid avoid avoid poison and focus on physical or magic damage now for what ever build you are using and if elemental builds is used keep it pvm.
