I am only seeing a few rare bot public games. i saw over an hour ONE PLAYER. Even the bots are going offline: channel bots, baal bots, enchant games GONE.

ok so we have been seeing more and more of that at this point its normal. but.....



ALL D2 SHOPS are no longer offering ladder items. this is actually a good thing because i only use self found items and i was #1 this season for a straight month in the 99 char race. if we need d2lod to keep alive in any condition we need to keep those enchant games going.

On USEAST Softcore NL there is almost no more chant/cbaal games. Only 1 pub pvp here and there
The ladder section is more active (more bots games)

There’s pvp out there. For pvm, you’ll have to cultivate a friends list of like-minded players! I found a pretty solid group in hardcore ladder one season. There are plenty of people out there who like to start self/group-found only runs even if they run bots on their other accounts. No doubt the game is dead in terms of an active online arpg. But you can still easily find people to play with. I logged onto Journey the other day which I think could easily be considered more dead than lod in every measurable parameter, and ended up playing with a group of random strangers! This is a game without communication.
If you’re looking to just log in and find a bunch of games up, yep, you’re out of luck. But there’s certainly still a large enough player base, even if just self found/private group found runs, that you could fill a friends list with people who play. I haven’t had any time to play at all or I’d be all over hardcore ladder Druid!
