is the server going to be closed anytime soon? if so why? Other classic games are even older than d2 lod and still thriving without server closing.

Chris Wilson actually just had an interview with some of the old devs and they talked about the server optimization for battle net that they did at the time being incredibly efficient (cost effective)


So at least any time soon, they probably would not close down the servers.
