I want to make ebotd, and i saw usually they make it in a giant thresher.
But why not a champion axe...
Its for pvm and i believe weapons range dont matter too much.
Avg damage for champion axe is 76.5 vs 77 for Gt.
But requirements for champ: 167 strength; 59 dex.
...For GT: 188; 140.
That should be close damage right?
I mean, it would save me some dex pts to put in strenght for more damage in strength, or vita for life.!

Fireclaw is elemental. The physical damage won’t matter so much. Anyway, that said, you want speed more than anything else. If I made one, I would go with eth archon staff myself.

It matters much when you meat unbreakable fire immunes even with an infinty merc.
Archon staves are also +10 wsm vs -10 for champ axes and giant threshers.
