i remember in classic it hard capped at 3bo , but the other day while on a barb i was a holding a cta and it still said 5bo. it didnt show 3 like it used to. is that so ppl dont accidently screw themselves selling a 6bo thinking its a 3 and it still hard caps at 3?

its still capped at +3 even if it says more. just use 2 hotos or 3 wc + str x2 in something low str

no cta is better bc yes you get the +3 but it also has a +1 all skills

you dont get the full 6/6/ out of it but you get the +1 all skills and 3 bo

The reasons barb uses bo weps, is the strenght with fal runes
So that the gear dont turn red and make double bod by mistakes

Think of it this way, 2x +3 Warcries weapons on switch = +6 Battle Orders etc.

As mentioned before, CtA + +3 Warcries weapon is better because of the +1 All Skills.

It is up to you to choose.
