Playing offline with a hdin, don’t have fana. Can someone recommend gear swap to get my first anni and torch?

I have gface, loh, hoz and can make a black. Just wondering what else would be needed to make it work. I have runes for hustle

Helmet: Guillaumes/Kiras
Armor: Lionheart or Treachery
Rings: Whatever rings you have.
Amulet: Highlords wrath
Belt: Deaths belt then I guess.
Gloves: Draculs. Other gloves work, but you'd want a life tap wand on switch in that case.
Boots: Goblin toes

I predict it does not go well. Where is life tap? You don't really want to use a wand with charges vs ubers it's too easy to let it drop and not be able to re cast. Life tap wand is ok vs d clone. You also need open wounds, usually dracul gloves or gore boots.

Point in salvation to use vs meph unless you have literally 300 light res for meph.

Use 4 or more antidotes before you fight lillith, and another 4 antidotes + 4 thawing pots before meph. Those add to your res, for 30 seconds each.

I don't see how hustle would help. If it's for fanat on a merc, merc will probably die.

You need life tap and open wounds or prevent monster heal at minimum. Please start with dClone first, since that one you have good chance to beat even using a ton of pots to keep merc alive, even if you return to town. Lilith and uber trist are much harder and less forgiving. Good luck.

Edit: and repair black flail immediately before going to trist!

++ make treachery to pre buff fade before all uber and mini uber fights. My first ubers i re did fade 3 times only to clear Matron's Den.

Life tap wand is all I have so far and hustle armor would be for my ias - still no lem. Would love a highlords

Life tap wands works very well, just don't rush all 3 simultaneously. If you can't take it down with 1 cast of life wand tap duration for meph, you will have a very hard time.

You can make a malice (ith + el + eth) for open wounds and prevent monster heal for a very budget build. No need for highlords, gore or draculs if you're on a tight budget.

Most starters go with 4 diamond monarch and swap between black and malice. The hardest is always the last tick of hp on player 1 with a low dmg build. You can be stuck there for a while on the last tick. So life tap might be real tight.

salv is a must and antidotes as well. Dont forget mana pots ! Baal will burn you down real quickly

FWIW, I would recommend treachery over hustle for first lem. I've accidentally forgotten to swap armors, and killed all ubers with treachery, it works really well in fact.

Honestly you do not even need to switch from hammers, as long as you have a mercenary that can proc open wounds.

There are some of cheap options for that :
malice rune word weapon (ith el eth, 100% chance), or weostave (unique halberd, has slow target too) . Crescent moon (shael um tir sword or polearm) also works but a little more expensive.
duress runeword armor (shael um thul)
