the answer is outdated
all known dupes are patched. bots need to farm sojs and this takes time, non dupped sojs are sold in bulk by vendors to make a server pop, due to lack of players this is done late in the ladder. a server is chosen (example 50) then you automate joining games,
if game != 50 (exit)
if server == 50 return = "found" then idle in game
this means getting a lot of chars on the same ip on the same server, selling sojs, going from game to game collection anni with a smiter or cs zon.
the anni is now the rarest item in d2 because it takes logistics, planning, mass sojs (non dupes)
back in the day the frequency of dclones randomly poping up in public/private games was somewhat high. an autoit script called d2 clone sitter / kiss dclone can be found on (redacted - the name of the website will cause the post to flag and be given a 24 hour ban from jsp) so search for the general context of the post and you should find it but the script is useless in the occurrence is so astronomically rare at least on d2 lod. the script itself does work and its patch proof. i tried to re-download it and the source code is removed from the site so it basically does not exist anymore. you can also have know ip's with a future dclone pop in your config so you can get a message when the server is found you would need to remake the script yourself but its not hard.
all the script does is
read ini account/pass
log in
generate random game name / pass
enter game
read ini for hot ip
if not found have a programmed delay before exit so you dont realm down. exit game
exit game - make new game
if ip in the ini is found turn on anti idle mode - open inventory, open merc window, mousemove(random) - but no click this is anti idle so you dont get kicked from the game, is similar to getting stuck on the logs while trying to click on the stash and running in place but with a script.
if correct ip is found send a desktop alert of $server found!
there is no longer american / chinese sojs. long long ago it was indeed chinese operators but profits dried up and the sites moved ownership to american operators and the server if you want to look it up was hosted in california.
