Haven't played regular d2 in a while and my brother wants to give me his character name...... It's my nickname. But it's a short name and he said if we don't delete and remake fast "namebots" will get it.

Is this still an issue?

Worst that that, server is glitching and sometime the name just cannot be re-created after you delete it.
It can stay glitched for more than a week, if you try to create it. its just holding on forever and never says that it alreydy exist

Uhhh no. I want *my* name. If I wanted my name with XxX or -WeeD I would've just made that.... My brother held onto my name for like 12 years, so I want MY name. Also your font is REEALLY hard to read... Why type like that???!

You know what I mean, jerk... It's bright yellow. You know exactly what you're doing... you're intentionally rage-baiting...

Also, my brother told me "he has no idea what he's talking about the bots can claim names faster than any human can type".

Idk much about but I believe him. And the reason I asked in the first place is just to be safe because I heard that 2 lettered names can be stolen by a bot really easily...

And you're right about one thing, I might not have another option except to try. But nobody has answered if the bots still exist.

"I'll repeat it again" – you say that like you've had to say it multiple times... Which leads me to believe you're annoying multiple people with it. I don't even know anyone on this website or have buddies, but again if you have multiple people telling you it's an issue... It's probably an issue.

Imagine you're kicked out of 20 bars and then you claim it's all the bar's fault, not yours... You know how that looks, right? Again, I've been reading a few postings on this site this week and I've seen your name in the Diablo discussion section and you're always using the annoying colored text and I've never seen anyone else do that on this site so far.

I could be wrong and it's more common elsewhere where I'm not viewing, but if you're saying that multiple people are complaining about it... That sounds like YOU'RE doing something wrong. Your "fun" makes your posts too hard to read unless you stick to certain colors only... And IDC or even mind if you use readable colors, but the bright yellow is ridiculous.

Because he's trying to be as annoying as possible.
Most people just ignore whatever he writes.
