does it feel like your account and/or certain characters that you're playing only get a set "quality" of items..

For example, nearly all uniques that i have found, or the ones that i bother to pick up are really bad low end versions of them.

Chance of something dropping good is low, same thing happened to me, when I’d mf I’d get a high lord or a shako if I’m lucky, I’ve only gotten a hr a few times

no this is a common misconception that has existed for decades. a pally will have a higher chance of finding pally items its false. what matters clear speed, in full games, with highest mf possible. you can go on single player and stack holy shock with level 99 on single scs then add passive light mastery and light pierce and +107 mf per item. so you have mf in the few thousand range. next go and clear chaos and world stone 1 2 3. now transfer items from pally to barb ect the drops will be identical so they are not unique to player class.

mm i dont mean by class, i just mean when your character is created, its as if you're code is set to only allow you to find a certain range lol. im just baffled by all the low unique items i have found consistently.
i've found some decent ones, don't get me wrong, but the low end highly outweighs the high end and i get it, higher end are meant to be more rare. idk maybe just seeing all the botters selling multiple gg items got me messed up lol

no what you are talking about does not exist. there is no limit range on what you can find unless: you are mfing in a area with limited tc. if you are in a tc 85 area like hell chaos then anything can drop, mlevel, and tc are the same for regular monsters(hell chaos reg monster = 85 while drops from that monster are tc 85). if you do clear unique monsters (diablo nith, baal) have higher drop tables that the area they are in. diablos mlevel is 94 and can drop an upgrade drop table of 87. baal(hell) is mlvl 99 and drop table 87. if you clear champ or unique monsters it will still have a higher mlevel then the area they are in as an upgrade bonus. so if you want to find all items clear hell chaos with max players in game, clear it fast, clear all monsters since any monster can drop anything, and also look for champ packs and unique monsters.

using tc 85 area (chaos) then a champ is +2, unique is +3 increases monster level tc but we are still dropping at max of tc of 87 from nith, diablo, baal even when mlevel is higher then tc drop tables. so baal is mlvl 99 but drop table limits are 87.

this is why when leveling at 98 you get so little exp from regular monsters because the mlevel is low but if you clear diablo nith baal the mlevel is closer to you (98) so you get more exp. the bulk of your exp at 98 come from just 3 monsters and area clearing chaos + baal. thankfully chaos is tc 85 so when leveling you just find a ton of everything. just today i found 3 jahs 1 ber and 2 sojs in chaos with around 20 set items over 100 runs.
