So this is rather embarrassing...

I created a new account yesterday evening and stored some items on it. I didn't bother noting down the account name and later logged into my main account. Now I can't recall the name of my newly created account. Items will soon expire. Not the end of the world, but I'd like to recovery them if possible.

I believe the name contains one or more of the following words or abbreviations:

wtr
waterfront
m
mule
anni
annihilus

I've attempted some combinations. No luck.

I am certain of the character names. Not sure if I want to post them here though. I can find the names locally. They are stored here: C:\Users\X\Saved Games\Diablo II

I dabbled a little with the files, but I don't think any battle.net info is stored in them. I might be wrong. Haven't spent much time on it.

I do think I remember the password.

I've tried multiple names and only get "That account does not exist.". I would get a different message if password was wrong.

It's been about 24 hours now, I've got 24 hours left before the account/characters get purged I believe.

I don't know, if you change the email you will receive the account name confirmation, but you have to guess the account name and also know the old email you used.

No mail was used. It was a throwaway account.

I'm guessing username. If I hit it I will either get logged in or get wrong password error. Currently I am getting no such account exist error.
