Hi all,
When dual-wielding weapons with different attack ranges, how does Whirlwind determine its effective range?
For example, if I use a Phase Blade (range 1) in the main hand and a Berserker Axe (range 3) in the off-hand:
- Does Whirlwind use only the main-hand weapon’s range?
- Does it alternate between both weapons during the animation?
- Or is there a different mechanic that decides which range applies?
I'm pretty sure that for Frenzy and regular attacks, the attack range is determined by the main-hand weapon. But I'm not sure if Whirlwind follows the same logic or has its own internal rules.

I believe if u have different weapons with different ranges it will alternate between hands some hits will be longer and some shorter as the animation doesn't just attack with mainhand weapon

Phaseblade has rangeadder of +1
Berserker axe has rangeadder of +2

So i think wirl is base is 2.
2+1 = 3 for pb
2+ 2 = 4 for ba

Hi everyone,
I found someone who has tested it.
The conclusion is that the attack range is determined by the main-hand weapon—that is,
the weapon located above the gloves in the equipment slot.
Thanks for replies!
