Started a new playthrough in Diablo 2 as a Druid, going with a Werewolf build. I’m only level 20 so far, but honestly this feels like one of the strongest builds I’ve tried. I know it’s usually placed at the bottom of most tier lists, but compared to some “top tier” characters I’ve played before, I haven’t had nearly as smooth and powerful a start as I’m having with this one.

With gear it can be pretty good, can't compare with aoe tele fcr casters but it's super fun to me

It's damn good just can't use tele which imo is a benefit cuz you get to utilize feral rage and on item frw speed that can be super fun

Can get huge HP and can wear 2h weapons effectively



With huge physical dps comes unlimited mana and life regen and feral rage huge leach it's very fun to use 2h cuz you heal so much

Some maps stink without teleport but most are very fun, and you get to be a wolf or bear

Not going to compare to super top end op stuff that exist but it's def viable and fun

I Totally agree and feel the same. for first "higher lvl" character its really good

I haven't tried it on D2R but I remember enjoying Ribcracker Wolfie on legacy. Hits like a truck and pretty tanky.

I don't pay much attention to tiers tbh. I explore what I enjoy playing without build guides and if it happens to be good at clearing it's a bonus 😆

A good twohander, enigma and spirit on bo side and you can teleport quite nice. I used to baalrun with a eco druid using eth crap runeword Oath if I remember correct.

But it can't compare to casters. And for pvp they destroyed rabies. They also destroyed desync with it.
