I'm looking to make a non tele smiter and I want to use a Phoenix shield.
Im running 9x pcomb lifers.

I want to know what base is better for Phoenix, is it a 45res Sacred Targe or enhanced damage vortex?
For my small charms I have 3/20/20s but should i be using 5@/20's?

And fort or chains of honor for my armor?
I want to make a GG smiter that I can be proud of. Any advice appreciated.

Sacred Target ed should be Best for Phönix

Maximum dmg and AR doesn't apply to Smite, so anything Else is better. I'd Go with 5/20 yes

Forti is better than CoH

Sacred targe for optimal block allways. If not st, you go SR or maybe a kurast.. vortex isnt rlly optimal on a v/c due to the blockrate.
When you play what you in LoD called a v/c we would use eni over forti even tho you dont tele. Never go forti or coh ..
322s r gd for your charge so i would go with 322s and then use whisp rings against light and raven against cold.

And for duels vs phys dmg allways go knights mode/ed/ar on Phoenix.

when you cast firestorm from phoenix it causes an interrupt and this will causes you to lose svs duels. if you have phoenix on vs a barb or a druid you should be fine. i never put phoenix on my smiters either ev 45 res exile or upped hoz.
in d2 phoenix does have a huge 400 ed boost to smite but at the risk of lower survivability from firestorm. in d2r this is not the case.
