I'm joining games in progress that end in a few minutes, and as soon as I leave and try to join or create another game, or change characters, the connection to Battle.net is interrupted and I receive the ban message.
Is this just happening to me or is it widespread?
Has Blizzard made a statement about this change?
Can anyone explain to me what's happening?
From my experience, so, it's a small sample size:
1 char 3 minutes and up to 20 games per hour. As for the max per day, I do not know that.
Best practice, 7 to 10 seconds when outside of game and in each screen, e.g., if in chat screen stay 7 to 10 seconds, if in character select screen stay 7 to 10 seconds... Faster than that, may lead to a soft ban.
If joining and leaving games, that is where it becomes dangerous. I suggest staying in a game for 3 minutes before switching to a mule or to another character. Some, may disagree. But, due to the Skinner Box syndrome, I prefer playing it safe so that I am not timed out for hours, days, weeks. I do not mind wasting 3 mins magicfinding than getting soft, medium, or hard banned.
