is the "email service" pm the instant i joined the main chat thing a scam or a legit blizzard thing.
ive been ignoring it, but like.. with how many bots exist on diablo 2.. i dont wanna put in any information.

Tried to pm the account, not logged in.
i feel that i did sign up my account with an email.. but cant remember..
so i cant just say "i have an email registered"

its a scam to try to steal you account... don't give your email

Not a scam, but I think it's better to NOT have an email registered to account. Too many places get hacked these days.

i tried googling the "account name" nothing showed up.

clicked in my brain after making this post..
to google the command.

found this website.. talking about it.. which i assume.. means its legit.

so i tried it in chat but with no info. i just typed /set-email
it shows up in blue text from the server "set email for account with no email"

Not a scam totally up to the user if they want to register an email in the event they forget their passwords
