I tried to xfer a name onto my other account. And it stays on creating name page stays loading and doesn't create the character. Is there any way to fix this or anyone had encounter the same problem. Luckily I didn't xfer an expensive name. lol xd.

Not sure you can have two diff acts with a char same name or did you delete the other char

I've got the same issue — it's been a week now. I’ve lost about 10 character names trying every day to get them back, but it just gets stuck on the "Waiting..." screen after I hit "OK."

I even asked someone else to try creating a character with one of the lost names — didn't work either.
Interestingly, I tried deleting and reusing the same name on the same account, and that did work.
So apparently, you can’t delete a character and reuse the name on a different account.

This all started around the time of that weird "Realm Down" spike.

I looked into it, and it seems like we had similar issues last year — but I wasn’t active back then.
Apparently, people were able to dupe items during one of those server lag waves — even rolling back full levels on characters they were leveling.
I suspect it'll get fixed with the ladder reset, but if no one opens a ticket with Blizzard, it'll probably stay bugged like this until they decide to reboot their potato servers. (ladder reset)

Edit: I’ve noticed that I can’t register an account. When I create a new one and enter my email during the process, it still asks me to register an email afterward. If I try using the /email-register route, it sends a broken link to my inbox that doesn’t work. Also, trying to change the email for an already registered account (created before this bug) doesn’t work either.

I'm sorry this is bothering you so much but I really don't see any point in raising this issue? The game is ancient with little to no support.. has other more important things that should be fixed that no effort is being put towards.. and quite frankly.. its a name. Throw a random character or a hyphen in there somewhere. It doesn't affect the gameplay or experience at all. It is your own personal attachment that is bothering you when in reality.. it is nothing.

I could even see them purposely leaving it this way as a stop implementation to prevent people from trying to hoard and sell gamer tags on forums like this..
