I've tried multiboxing two clients at the same time, and my PC freezes to the point where I have to manually restart it. Sometimes it happens after a couple of minutes, sometimes after 20 minutes. It doesn't matter what I'm doing ingame, recently it crashed after just five minutes of idling in town with both characters.
I'm using the lowest possible settings, NVIDIA DLSS is off, windowed mode is enabled, and the framerate is capped at 60 for both clients. I also added D2R.exe and set the "Background Application Max Frame Rate" to 30.
I've tried everything, but nothing works. I don't think it's a hardware issue, because my specs are pretty high:
Windows 11
13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700KF (24 CPUs), 3.4GHz
32GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090
2TB SSD
Let me know if someone has a solution for this, thanks!
Get Windows 11 23H2 version instead of what ever newer version you have. Microsoft have fuked up online gaming somehow and newest version on Windows causes freezez and lags on D2R, like on other games also. You have to google that older version of windows by yourself because what ever bitch reason Microsoft doesn’t support ”downgrade” to theyr product. This maybe sounds stupid but it’s fact what helped me also.
