I've been running TZ in public baal games on a blizzard sorc today, but I haven't played D2R since way back before all the buffs/changes. I'm wondering if I'm fuckin up by using a blizz sorc?

I have hoto, 3 pc tals, shako, 35 spirit, trang glove, WT, torch/anni/sunder, 1 fcr/all res/mana ring and one stat/mana/all res ring, hit 125 fcr so I could still stand to lose a bit.

Without spending to get gear is blizz still my best choice? I don't really wanna do too much trading as I don't think I'm gonna REALLY get back into D2R

Blizzard sorc is used as it always was. The cold sunder doesn't do much tbh, help kill cold immune slightly faster rather then just depending on merc. Obv if u have top tier gear ( fathom nw etc) cold sunder will help alot more.

Ur best choice is cows/Tz with little cold immune/ Andy/ mesh/ baal

Use merc might

Biggest beneficiary of new updates is Nova sorc cuz u can clear pits cows much faster now without infinity.

Yes, Blizz sorc is dated and a boring playstyle. Switch to self wield infinity nova asap! It's much tankier and clears just as fast. It's a fairly simple setup:

gear:
griffons
low str req non eth infinity
crafted fcr ammy
fortitude or up'd viper
eth treks or silkweave/crafted caster boots
arach
fcr ring/soj (or two fcr rings if you're using fort/your fcr ammy is low roll)
magefist or frosties
3 es war staff cta or 9es memory on swap (+1 ts or ca is nice!)
inventory is light skillers and mana/mf sc's


a2 merc with prayer exploit
insight
eth coh
cure

skills:
20 nova
20 static
20 light mastery
20 telekensis
rest into es and warmth
1 pt in tstorm is nice to put mobs on fhr recovery
(+you already have dmg synergy and light mastery maxed)

edit: you may have to spend a bit to switch but its worth it and you have a ton of fg so why not (pm me if you want gearing I have a ton of extra that I can hook yo up with)
