My top 5 blizzard updates to D2R are those that increase build variation:
1) Allow sets to spawn ethereal. (Allows more variety like a competent Immortal King, a GG merc Sazabi, etc.)
2) Allow unique indestructibles to spawn ethereal. (Allows for more variety in build types than Grief, a wearable Tyrael's Might, etc)
3) Multiply by 10 to the power level and charges amounts. Example: Level 2 teleport (25 charges) becomes Level 20 teleport (250 charges). (Allows more variety than enigma)
4) 2x monster density and 2x attack speed for all hell level monsters. Including Black Souls, Stygian dolls, Minotaur, Minion of Destruction, etc. More danger = more fun.
5)The 7 main sets have new set items on weapon swap, that also completes the set, basically to reduce Call To Arms & Enigma over usage, for example:
M'avina Amazon: Set Matriarchal javelins with -enemy poison resist and +1 battle orders and +1 teleport
Natalya Assassin: Set dagger(or2handed katana, new item) with when equipped grants Invisibility aura, complete invisibility to monsters and players) and +1 battle orders +1 teleport, with +damage to buff up blade skills
Immortal King Barbarian: Set Legendary Mallet(s) with 300-400%ed(can spawn ethereal), deadly strike, 55ias and +1 teleport
Aldur Druid: Set Great Pole Axe decent damage with +6-10 grizzly, dire wolf, spirit wolf and +1 battle orders, +1 teleport, fanaticism aura when equipped and... morphs into a poleaxe Goat-man when completed, to match the goat pelt. Grants confusion/minion to Goat-man monsters.
Trang-oul Necromancer: Set Elder Staff with +1 battle orders, +1 teleport, and Conviction or Fanaticism aura when equipped. Grants confusion/minion to vampires when in vampire morph.
Griswold Paladin: Set Hell Forge hammer with faster cast, +1 battle orders and +1 teleport and Salvation aura and +3 holy shield +%%magic damage(blessed hammers too) and +%%magic resistances for black cleft when completed.
Tal Rasha Sorceress: Set Archon Staff or Cryptic Sword with +7 zeal, 70%ias, +1 battle orders +1 battle command, +10-15 Armageddon. (Enchant zeal "Spell Sword" sorc alternative to Passion RW.)
OR... allow mercenaries to cast oSkills, like battle command or battle orders, there by eliminating the cookie cutter Call To Arms Swap on almost all builds, opening up player's weapon swaps for more variation of builds. But having the 6 out of 7 main sets grant teleport is a decent fix for cookie cutter Enigma.
Bonus 6)Nerf Mosaic to allow non-consuming charges of only one skill, the first charge up skill.
Also wish they would release an expansion to add quests 4,5,6 to Act 4, with the above mentioned changes. Quest 6 "March into Hell" maybe an endless river of flame from a portal after you kill Diablo, with ever increasing monster difficulty/monster level, random monsters with 3x and 6x and 9x and 12x etc speed/life/damage multipliers that would murder the top PVP perfect 8 characters. So now you'd really have to work as a team and a new run type would be to see how long you survive. I'd pay 29.99 for that.
