Situation:
I agree to imbue items for user sw1 https://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=329778.

6 imbues (2 chars)

He drops 6 eth ghost glaives to imbue and then I start imbuing.

One poofs before I can pick it up or game glitches out and when i attempt to pick up i end up with only 2, not 3.

Whos responsibility is this lost item? He did not pay me for 1 imbue due to this, and he accused me of taking his eth ghost glaive.

yours imo. if you offer that service, you are responsible for doing it correctly. D2 is an old game and the permanence timers are well-known, so you could definitively have worked around that

what if I tell the guy to pick them back up? Also I thought that drop trading was not allowed. In D2LOD games would crash all the time whos fault would that be?

That said I will take what you are saying into account.

More votes I'll do as the people suggest. Could be due to game stacking throwing items from ground

well if you tell him to hold the items, then he is the one responsible for the items vanishing and you are fine imo

Well, according to the rules of jsp, sw1 needs to make sure that you receive the items properly.

On the other hand, why didnt you pick them up and put in share stash?

According to jsp rules it’s sw1 fault

Common sense, it’s your fault.

Did you try to pick them all up once he dropped them?

I mean it’s possible that you imbued something nice and made up the whole story.
