i have one character that cant make or join a game been like this for 2weeks now
every other character on the account can join games
any suggestions?

no its a newers character just started this season

Happened to 4 of my characters they’re all corrupted so I just made new ones on same account and they can make and join games just fine. I just took the loss they still get failed to join game and this is since July

TY for info, your chars probably corrupted around the time where they went back to expiring mules and the lags/duplicated items/charachter resets to lower levels happened, you probably correctly identified that as char issue.

For me i did a "no touchy" for 72+ hours including IP renew and still get "No new games can be created right now..."

Also tried deleting and creating a new char, also gets "No new games can be created right now..."

Any more experiences on temp ban lengths?

Had this once on my classic barb
Lasted a year

The ladder reset actually reseted hes bug/this bug

Little update from my side, it's a little special case here with some interesting info i think.

I had a key that i was using for 3+ years which i assume got sold to another gamer ( i got cd key in use message by "Morok" < Name entered on installation for this key this is NOT account or char name )

Tried to get in contact with that user but no success.

I was blocking that key for some time but then forgot about it and when i reused it i got that extended temp bans ( because of the length of the temp ban i think he/she was using VPN/Proxies )

1st try to recover was 72+ hours completely no touch any accs/chars/keys, no success all accs/chars/keys still temp banned.

2nd try now i am back on again after 14 days completely offline with all accs/chars/keys so i am assuming a 2 week temp ban in that case.

Temp Ban Cross contamination and timer reset:

Now heres the interesting thing what i think is happening:

Temp bans will cross contaminate IP's, Accs/Chars and Keys!

This means if you get a temp ban e.g.: for leaving or joining too quickly and you just change 2 of those variables, those new variables will get flagged instantly as well!

E.G.: you reset your router/ip and log in to a different account but still use the same cd key, the new IP AND Acc/Char will get instantly flagged also AND the temp ban timer will reset!
This seems to happen to any of those variables on login with 1+ of those variables flagged/temp banned.

Anyway regardless of my case mind this, it is known for a long time but i still see huge amount of players not knowing this:

TLDR!
THE MOST COMMON TEMP BAN REASON IS CHANGING ACCS TOO QUICKLY!
STAY IN LOBBY FOR 7+ SECONDS AFTER LEAVING A GAME BEFORE GOING BACK TO CHARACHTER SELECTION!!!

My game creation time was like "2049503" seconds over a week ago. Now it's 115 seconds and it wont go down to 114, 113, 112 seconds. Weird. I don't think this has anything to do with corrupted character files.
