My suggestion is for the high fg dudes to donate to new or returning players to game fg perhaps 1 k fg.

Post what you think here about the idea?

If not fg then. Full gear set ups for paly or sorc etc.

Terrible idea. Why are you trying to spend others’ fg?

Be the change you want to see. Pilot the idea yourself and spend your own fg.

The problem that existed in d2lod and now again in d2r is that you have too few ppl committed to growing and maintaining a GM community. Rather then saying "some one else has to do the work, foot the fg or whatever, you should be saying something like "I will grow the community. i will arrange regular events, i will weed out those ppl that are only here to cause problems, i will share my accounts".



pretty much sums it up.

Reality check: Player base is only going to go down.

Side note: Majority of active users on legacy trading forums seem to be flippers.

Two main problems:

1) Lack of passion and conviction from most players.

2) Money grubbing people creating toxic environments that pushes the idea onto new users that you have to buy the best gear in order to be good at pvp in order to feel included, and that this is the only way to play the game.

The only way to beat these two problems, is to work on it from the ground floor like i've been doing the last 15 years. We need more passionate players that believe in the ground values that you are promoting. The only thing it takes for evil to win, is for good people to do nothing. More good people must stand their ground and not be pushed out by toxic users. That is the main thing.

And also, people must not be so easily sold .. like Lemmy from Motörhead says, "And i ain't gonna be easy (easy), the only time i'm easy is when i'm .. killed by death". People are too easy, buys new games and updates too easily, also pd2 and all these garbage versions. This divides the player base too much, and diverts the collective focus, player base and the original idea. Which is sad.

It's okay that people play modified version and such, as long as they don't trade and spread it to others. There's nothing more fun when people get together and play collectively.

So like communism?
