i believe classic/old Runewords which were (Ladder only )for D2lod
are now available in D2R in both "non & ladder"

a.k.a restriction removed.

How ever newer runeword that were introduced to D2R that have the restriction (Ladder only) will only work in ladder

Edit: its kind of confusing actually, blizzard should have a page for D2R like (arreat summit)

Seems like some runewords that came in patch 2.6, are the only one restricted to ladder only ?
