Looking to make a pair of Smokes before I start MFing on Nightmare Andy, one for my Sorc and one for the Summoner Druid I'm farming for.

I'm on Hardcore so I'm not in a hurry to reach Hell on my first Ladder character, but I'm trying to farm everything on my own without buying my way up with fg.

i always have terrible luck on countess, but found three Lum on playthrough NM and farming other NM locations (like Meph/Dia/Baal/Trav/Eldritch+Shenk/Pindle)

also runes above Io seem to be very rare on NM countess

No way of saying bro, could be lucky in 1 run or have no luck and it take 4 days non stop farming. Personally I wouldnt spend more than a few hours on runs before I gave up. Smoke isnt necessarily a big item spike so youll be fine without it for a while

Just walk act 3-4, or run ~1 week Countess..

Mainly I'm looking to farm low-mid sets for new characters, particularly Angelics. Hence why I'm mainly farming Nightmare Andy, though that's mostly so I also have a reasonable chance at an SoJ. I'm also hunting for any unique bows that fire Magic Arrows. My Summoner Druids main weapon is going to be an up'd Witchwild String.

I'd be content to move on from Countess once one of the runs drops a 4-socket sword and polearm, so I can make Spirit and Insight.

Can you get 4-socket polearms or swords from Normal Cows? Trying to hunt one of each down for Spirit and Insight.

i just did the math you are correct.

I guess no Smoke before Hell then. That would've been a huge upgrade to get resistances out of the negative or even near the cap.

I'm still using Stealth and that's junk now.
