does merc helm armor skills effect weapon or self auras ?

If you are asking in an act 2 prayer merc with andy helm and infinity if the skills from the andy helm make conviction go up the answer is no. However it would increase the prayer level

The gear that your merc wears (i.e. Helm and Armor), does not effect your weapon or skills, if merc weapon has skill aura, then that aura will stack and apply to your char. Though you can get boost and stack from the merc's aura as well, Depending on which act 1-5 merc you buy. gl g.

no. auras from items have a fixed level and there is no way to alter it

correct. if any char (player or merc) uses multiple items that give the same aura, the aura levels stack (lw/lw gives lvl 34 might, dream/dream gives lvl 30 holy shock, hoj/dragon/dragon gives lvl 44 holy fire)
