I heard if u upgrade soul shanks they will poof anyone know if this is true?

Had a pair of uppd soul shanks the past hybrid runeword ladder. Account got wiped with a schwack of gear. No botting, no response from blizzard at all.

So I can say they don't poof. Just reminiscing haha

If they’re Up’d does it increase their vaLue?

You used to be able to upgrade 08 items but no longer can. It won’t poof if it’s perm, but it’ll crash the game name (sometimes for minutes, sometimes for months) and tag all characters in the game for 20 mins or so

The item will poof, don't even try. Anything that is upd that has a pre LoD affix will poof. This is most likely because when the classic team was trying to fix "Diablo 2" they probably deleted what they thought was duplicate looking affix names from the code, when it was actually pre LoD affixes that applied to these old classic items. That is my theory anyway.

this also happened to me, i separated my botting accounts / and cdkeys and emails registration and d2 install from my clean accounts with proxies and used my clean accounts with no mods on my real ip. clean keys / ip / email / the works it did not matter if the account was clean or dirty accounts across the board got disabled. i lost hundreds of accounts full of hybrids it was terrible as i muled the hybrids to the clean accounts.

rough, i mean end of the day I play d2r and accept the shitty pvp. But shame to not pass the items along to someone who would still utilize them. I reached out to blizz several times and didnt get a response. Dem da brakes
